Actor, singer, director, author, composer, born in Liège, June 16, 1957.

Patrick Waleffe studied at INSAS and obtained his diploma in Dramatic Interpretation in 1978.

He began his career at the Théâtre National but he could still be seen, during the first years of his career, at the Atelier Ste Anne, at the Esprit Frappeur or at Henri Ronse's NTB.

From 1979 onwards, he collaborated with the Théâtre du Copeau where, in 1984, he created Les Couronnes du Roi in a production by his great friend, Yves Hunstad.

He also had a long career with Herbert Rolland at the Théâtre de la Vie as well as with the Menus Plaisirs du Roy troupe with which he created numerous parodies for baroque puppets.

Alongside his acting career, he wrote numerous stage scores, including Gilbert sur scène and Le Pic Nic for Yves Hunstad, Britannicus, Le Médecin Malgré Lui and La Nuit des Rois at the Théâtre de la Vie, Mademoiselle Julie and Deirdre des Chagrins at the NTB, Termini Roma for Thierry Debroux and Karl Valentin, Dramuscules and L'Affaire Lambert at the Théâtre de la Place.

He more recently played at the Théâtre de La Place in Youpi by Charlie Degotte, in L'Européenne by David Lescot and in L'Affaire Lambert by Véronique Stas as well as in Le Capitaine Fracasse by Thierry Debroux at the Théâtre du Parc.

Even today, this incorrigible jack-of-all-trades can often be seen in dubbing studios, where, in addition to the voice he lends to a large number of characters, he adapts hundreds of songs into French for series aimed at young audiences.

At the Théâtre du Copeau, for which he has written, adapted, directed and performed a large number of shows and where he is now artistic director, he recently created La Rose Blanche, Les Cerfs-Volants and C'est avoir.

Since it is impossible to summarize in a few lines more than 35 years of career, you can find, if you are interested, at the address http://www.aml-cfwb.be/aspasia/intervenants/1195/Waleffe_Patrick of the Museum of Literature, an almost exhaustive list of his theatrical activities.
