Benoit Hechtermans

Benoit Hechtermans received his first camera when he was 6 years old: a Kodak Instamatic! From family photos to landscapes, he learned to tame photographic technique – framing and the infernal trio of aperture-speed-sensitivity – and to use increasingly efficient equipment.

With the "digital revolution", he was able to put his professional skills in the field of IT to the service of his passion for photography. In his "digital laboratory", each image can be optimized, reworked, in order to extract its quintessence.

Benoit practices reportage photography (shows, balls, etc.), studio photography (portraits) and the restoration of old images. He fuels the fire of his passion by reading specialized books, visiting exhibitions and searching for unusual images on the Internet.
